ARSON: State Fire Marshal Looking for Tips on Fire Intentionally Set

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) — The Division of State Fire Marshal’s Fire and Explosion Investigation Bureau is seeking tips from the public regarding an intentionally set fire at a vacant home in the village of Peebles (Adams County).
The fire occurred at approximately 3 a.m. today inside the first floor of a vacant home at 92 Walnut Street. The Peebles Fire Department responded to the scene with the Franklin Township Fire Department providing mutual aid.
The investigation is being conducted jointly by the State Fire Marshal’s office, the Adams County Sheriff’s office, and the Peebles police and fire departments.
A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered by the Blue Ribbon Arson Committee for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the fire.
