Anthony Frederick Vassallo, 87, of Circleville passed away on February 3, 2018. He was born on September 25, 1930 in Williamsport, PA to Biagio and Frances Vassallo. He worked for Corning Glass Works for many years as a chemical engineer. He married Reba Frosini in 2000 and family was aways the heart of his life. He was an excellent cook and enjoyed sharing his knowledge of Italian cuisine with family and friends. Baseball and opera filled many a Saturday afternoon. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Ruth, and his two brothers.
Anthony is survived by his wife Reba Frosini Vassallo, sister Bea English, children Christine (Russ) King, Nina (Paul) Wason, Kathryn Dominic, Carol (Peyton) Snead, step children Elisa (Keith) Peters, Christina Frosini, Gina (Mike) Herhuth, 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandsons. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday February 7, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Ted Machnik officiating.
